an Arthurian thank you note to Baba:

Babatunde Olatunji flew, at his own expense. out to our Hawaii Facilitators Playshop. He hung out with us and shared his infinite wisdom throughout out his stay with us. He also participated through out the Inter-Island Community Drum circle, and closed the event. This, for me personally, Is the highest honor that I think that I can ever receive.

But Baba didn't just come out to Hawaii to validate the Arthurian mission. He came out to talk to, teach, and inspire the next generation of community drum facilitators and rhythmical evangelists that came to my program.

He went out of his way. thousands of miles, to be a resource and inspiration to these lucky people, thus exhibiting once again he dedication to the mission of using the drum as a tool for unity. Many of my teachers have showed me how to drum. Baba has showed me why. The only real thanks that I can give Babatunde Olatunji is to reflect that dedication in my own teaching, work, and service to our growing drumming community. God has blessed us all with Baba's presents on the planet at this time.
